The Archer Within: Honouring 2026 and Welcoming 2027 with Clarity, Purpose and Intention

There are certain archetypes that seem to follow us throughout our lives. For me, The Archer is one of them.

As I prepare to close the chapter on 2026 and welcome the possibilities of 2027, I find myself reflecting on the wild, free-spirited Archer who has lived within me for as long as I can remember.

Wild and Free

Freedom has always been one of my deepest values. I've never been particularly comfortable inside boxes, fences or limitations. I've always been drawn to wide open spaces, untamed landscapes, expansive horizons and the feeling of possibility that exists just beyond what I can see.

Whether wandering ancient lands, standing beneath vast star-filled skies, exploring sacred sites, or following the call of a vision that stirs my soul, I feel most alive when I am listening to the mysteries of the earth and sky.

Perhaps that is why I have always resonated so deeply with Artemis, the Greek Huntress, and her Roman counterpart Diana. These powerful archetypes embody a fierce love of freedom, a profound connection with nature and an unwavering trust in their instincts. They walk their own path. They answer to the rhythms of the natural world. They know when to roam freely and when to stand still and listen.

I also love the illuminating presence of Apollo, the sun god of light, truth and vision. Where Artemis teaches us to follow our wild instincts, Apollo reminds us to bring consciousness, clarity and purpose to our path.

Together, they form the essence of The Archer. Wild and free. Focused and intentional. Instinctive and wise.

Life as an Archery Practice

Over the years I've come to understand that life itself is an archery practice.

There are seasons for wandering and seasons for aiming. There are times to release and times to pursue. Moments when we must let go of what has run its course, and moments when we must gather our courage, draw back the bow and trust ourselves enough to release the arrow.

Like nature, we are always changing, evolving, always becoming. Every experience, challenge, triumph and soul lesson reveals another layer of who we truly are. And as one cycle comes to completion, another quietly waits to begin.

Reflections for the Year's End

As we approach the end of the year, I invite you to sit with the same questions I am asking myself:

• What have I learnt?

• What am I ready to release?

• What is complete?

• What is calling me forward?

• Where am I being invited to place my energy, attention and intention?

You may like to journal on these beneath the Moon, letting your answers arrive gently rather than forcing them.

Before we can aim for what is next, we must honour what has been. This gathering is devoted to celebrating your journey, harvesting the wisdom of 2026 and lovingly releasing the beliefs, stories, expectations and patterns that no longer fit the person you are becoming. Not to fix ourselves, but to remember ourselves.

Once the field has been cleared, the Archer is ready to take aim. Inspired by the wisdom of Artemis, Diana and Apollo, this masterclass is devoted to conscious co-creation, bringing greater clarity to what you truly wish to create in 2027.

An Archer does not shoot wildly. She chooses her target. She steadies herself, trusts her instincts and releases with purpose. And then she trusts the journey of the arrow.

November's Moon Medicine

The New Moon on 9 November marks a sacred pause between what has been and what is yet to emerge. Like the Archer drawing back the bow, it invites us to turn inward, become clear about what we truly desire, and plant the seeds of intention for the journey ahead.

The Super Full Moon on 24 November illuminates what is ready to be seen, celebrated and released. As the Moon appears larger and brighter in our sky, it shines a light on what has reached completion and what no longer belongs in the next chapter of our becoming. Like the Sacred Archer clearing the field before taking aim, we are invited to create space for new possibilities.

The Archer Within You

The longer I walk this path, the more I understand that the Archer is not simply a mythological figure. She is an aspect of our own authentic nature.

She lives within every woman who has ever trusted her intuition. Within every soul who has ever felt called toward a greater vision. Within every seeker brave enough to release the past and step into the unknown.

She knows what is complete. She knows what is calling. She knows when to let go, and she knows when to take aim.

And perhaps, as this year draws to a close, she is calling to you too.
